We are looking for:

Furniture Retail Sales in the Port Kennedy area.
Weekly Hours Averaging 22.5 to 30 hours. Able to work weekends will be a plus, not but required

- Preferably someone with previous retail experience (preferably in the bedding/furniture industry).
- Experience with strong customer service and attention to detail
- Understanding of visual merchandising standards
- Someone with valuable verbal communication skills and decency in English fluency
- Someone who has computer literacy as most tasks are handled in the system
- High attention to detail to ensure all goods are correctly labelled and priced
- Ability to work in a small team and follow procedural steps

Example of Daily Tasks:

- Closing sales,



writing up sales quotes and invoices using a POS system.
- Following up on customer enquiries/queries by phone and email
- Record customer problems
- Knowledge of knowing and being able to explain assembly of sofa/beds/cabinets to customer
- Vacuuming and keeping showroom floor tidy
- Cleaning and dusting furniture on the showroom
- Post ads of products on advertising platform eg. marketplace and gumtree

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour
