Role Description The Early Childhood Educator is a full time, on-site role based in West Gosford, NSW. In this role, the educator plans and delivers age-appropriate learning experiences that promote each child’s development and wellbeing. Daily responsibilities include supervising children’s play and routines, implementing educational programs, observing and documenting children’s progress, and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment. The educator collaborates with families and colleagues, supports transitions and routines such as meals and rest times, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations and service policies.



The role also involves contributing to room planning, setting up engaging learning spaces, and participating in team meetings and professional development.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.Candidates should possess knowledge of Early Childhood Development and experience Working With Children in an education or care setting.Candidates should possess Creativity Skills to design engaging, play-based learning experiences and adapt activities to individual needs.Candidates should possess Organization Skills to manage routines, documentation, and learning environments effectively.Relevant early childhood education qualification (e.g., Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent).Current Working With Children Check and first aid certification (including CPR and asthma/anaphylaxis management) or willingness to obtain.Understanding of child safety standards, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices.Ability to work collaboratively in a team and engage in ongoing professional learning.
