About the role

The OOSH Educator is a member of the Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College Team. The role is primarily responsible for:

- Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children.
- Contributing to the educational program under the direction of the OSHC Coordinator/Educational Leader to provide a high‑quality program for all children.
- Assisting with the smooth running of the OSHC service in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures under the direction of the OSHC Coordinator/Nominated Supervisor.

Location & Employment Details

- Location: Fletcher, NSW
- Casual positions available.
- Hours: 6:30 am – 8:30 am Mon – Fri (Mornings), 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm Mon‑Fri (Afternoons), 6:30 am – 6:00 pm Mon – Fri (vacation care).

Essential Criteria

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
- Current Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting qualification.
- Current ACECQA‑approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training.
- Valid Working with Children Check.




- Accredited Child Protection Training.
- Willingness to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Law Application Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations.

Other Qualifications Considered

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
- Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised university (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA).

Experience

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Out of School Hours Care/Vacation Care Service.
- Previous experience in administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison.
- Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of service requirements for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) system and ability to perform software application for compliance.
