An excellent opportunity has arisen for a technically solid Accountant to join a well-established finance team within a large, complex organisation. This role would suit a CA/CPA qualified or near-qualified accounting professional who has built a strong foundation in audit, business services or accounting advisory within a Big 4 or second-tier accounting firm and is now looking to transition into a commercially focused industry role.

Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the month-end process and ensuring reporting packs are delivered accurately and on time. You will prepare and review general ledger reconciliations, assist with monthly financial accounts, support internal and external returns, respond to account-related enquiries and contribute to finance projects including process improvements, system enhancements and migrations. You will also play an important role in documenting financial processes, training team members, improving controls and providing accurate financial information to support business decisions.

What you'll need to succeed

- CA/CPA qualification, or working towards completion.
- Experience gained in a Big 4, mid-tier or second-tier accounting/audit firm will be highly regarded.




- Strong technical accounting capability, attention to detail and confidence working with complex financial information.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse, reconcile and interpret data accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to process improvement, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Experience in financial accounting, general ledger reconciliations, month-end close or audit will be advantageous.
