Own supplier governance and compliance across the supply chain

The Supply Chain Governance Officer will assist in managing all facets of supply chain governance within a complex and regulated environment. Working closely with Supply Chain, Quality and business stakeholders, you will drive supplier due diligence, compliance, reporting and governance activities that support effective risk management and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

- Lead the improvement of supplier governance activities, including management of the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and supplier compliance frameworks.
- Act as the subject matter expert for supplier due diligence and risk assessments, covering quality, safety, financial health, security, ethics, modern slavery, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage supplier onboarding, assessments, reassessments, and compliance monitoring, engaging relevant stakeholders as required.
- Maintain accurate supplier data, governance records, and auditable documentation within business systems.
- Provide governance advice and risk guidance to procurement and subcontract professionals.
- Develop and maintain governance reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support compliance, supplier performance, and supply chain decision-making.
- Support the preparation of corporate governance documentation, including Modern Slavery Statements, Sustainability Reports, and audit requirements.
- Participate in internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement and digital uplift initiatives across Supply Chain processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure supplier governance and compliance requirements are managed consistently across the enterprise.
- Significant experience in Supply Chain governance, supplier compliance, or procurement governance.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, reporting, and analytical skills.




- High level of digital literacy, including data analysis, reporting, and collaboration tools.

Qualifications and Knowledge

- Safety Management Systems;
- Quality Management Systems;
- Reading and interpreting company financial statements;
- Aeronautical Product regulatory requirements;
- Defence Industry Security Membership (DISP) Program;
- US Department of Defence Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC);
- Awareness of US FARs and DFARs, as well as, Commonwealth Procurement Policies.

Exposure or experience with Microsoft Dynamics.

Exposure or experience in the Defence Industry.
