This Business Administrator role is well suited to someone experienced in managing multi‑project administration, with solid exposure to finance and budget related tasks. You will support the day‑to‑day operations of the team, coordinating travel, meetings and events, while managing calendars, onboarding and off‑boarding and responding to queries across a range of internal systems and processes. You will also support training and appraisal activities and contribute to team initiatives with guidance from senior colleagues. Alongside this, you will play a key role in project and commercial administration, including CRM updates, confirmed job number applications, project set‑up and close‑outs, invoicing, purchase orders, and supporting financial tracking and budget activities. You will also assist with document production, ensuring reports and deliverables are accurately formatted to meet corporate standards. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.

The Opportunity

- Arranging travel (if approved Travel Booker for the Geography).
- Team events, meetings and workshops, including help with logistics and documentation.
- Responding to enquiries and requests for information, and providing guidance on Arup systems and processes.
- Staff on/off‑boarding.
- Project close‑outs.
- Intranet Project Plan (IPP) monthly report generation.
- Debt collection and credit control assistance, as required.
- Time and Expense transfer.

Is this role right for you?

- Considerable relevant industry experience in administration within a consulting/engineering built environment business.
- Thorough and methodical approach.
- Excellent understanding of processes, guidelines and job instructions, knowledge of nuances and ambiguities.
- Deepening/developing skills in an area that could be considered specialised (e.g. commercial, CRM, documents, travel, etc.) in alignment with individual career aspirations and appraisal.
- Studying towards recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in business, projects or similar.
