About the Role

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Chef de Cuisine and kitchen leadership team to oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain high culinary standards, and lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will play a key role in ensuring consistency, efficiency, food safety, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in managing all aspects of kitchen operations and food production.
- Lead, coach, and develop kitchen team members to achieve exceptional performance.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet Epicurean standards.
- Monitor stock levels, ordering, and inventory control.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.




- Support menu development and contribute innovative culinary ideas.
- Manage service periods effectively to ensure smooth and effective operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.

About You

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a high‑volume restaurant, hotel, or premium dining environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Passion for delivering exceptional food and guest experiences.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Solid organisational and communication skills.
- Relevant culinary qualifications and food handling certifications.
