Publican (Venue Manager) | The Grand Tasman Hotel

We’re not just looking for a Venue Manager – we’re on the hunt for a REAL Publican, someone who lives and breathes hospitality, leads from the front, and brings locals together by creating pub experiences they love.

Salary: From $105,000 + superannuation + bonus

Centrally located on Tasman Terrace in Port Lincoln, the Grand Tasman Hotel is everything guests expect from their local pub, plus more. Guests feel right at home from the moment they step inside, with our friendly service and hospitality. Our family‑friendly Bistro serves up some of the best pub food in Port Lincoln. We have an extensive drinks list, too, so guests won’t go thirsty. If guests are looking for affordable accommodation in Port Lincoln, we have 25 rooms, all with an ensuite bathroom and everything needed for a good night’s sleep. Whether someone is passing through or lives here, the Grand Tasman is their local in Port Lincoln.

A day in the life of a Publican

Inherent requirements

- This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

- Hold current industry RSA, RSG and Responsible Person qualifications as per SA state requirements.
