The Chance

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and customer-focused Sample Logistics Officer to join our Sample Logistics team based at our Thebarton, South Australia site.

This is a full-time, maximum-term contract opportunity for six months, providing maternity leave cover. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient coordination and management of sample logistics while working within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

? What You’ll Do

As a Sample Logistics Officer, you’ll be part of the Sample Logistics Team, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of clinical and preclinical samples. Your day-to-day work directly supports our bioanalytical scientists and plays a critical role in the smooth operation of our lab services.

Key duties include:

- Receive and log incoming sample shipments in our LIMS and freezer management system

- Communicate with internal teams and help resolve any sample queries





- Prepare samples for analysis and assist with outgoing shipments and disposals

- Perform basic quality control checks

- Keep our lab environment organised, clean, and safe

- Accurately complete records using systems like Monday.com

- Adhere to OECD GLP regulations, WHS policies, and company SOPs

- Meet departmental KPIs

- Support laboratory staff and Study Directors to meet client deadlines

? About You

We’re looking for someone with:

- Certificate III in Laboratory Skills (or similar) – desirable

- Familiarity with basic lab procedures and safety practices

- Strong attention to detail and time management

- A proactive, flexible, and team-focused mindset

- Good communication skills and computer literacy (especially MS Office)
