An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Crane Operator / All Rounder for a permanent ongoing role, with an immediate start, within our Harvey Workshop.
Minimum work hours are 6am – 4pm Monday - Friday.
Duties required for the role:
- Franna Operation – both in the yard and on-site jobs
- Rigging / Dogging
- Rigid truck transport duties
- Forklift Operation
- General workshop cleaning & maintenance
- Cleaning of cranes & additional equipment
- General yard cleaning & maintenance
- Checking off goods received with accuracy and efficiency
- Assisting trades in the workshop as required
- Basic maintenance on cranes & yard equipment
- Daily / weekly / monthly Prestarts and inspections on vehicles and equipment
- Accurately completing all required paperwork for the role
- Working as part of a team
To be considered for this role the following are essential:
- Be located within 100km radius of Harvey, Western Australia (or willing to relocate prior to starting the role)
- Experience in operating 25t Franna Cranes or similar sizes, in various environments, including on-road use
- Demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health & Safety, with protected work practices in a workshop
- Ability to comply with ongoing Drug & Alcohol policy
- HR Drivers Licence
- CN Crane ticket
- Basic Rigging & Dogging (as a minimum)
- Forklift License
The following are advantageous:
- Electrical Test and Tag ticket
- Confined Space (current within 2 years)
- Working at Heights (current within 2 years)
