About the role

Vandy's Roofing and Guttering Pty Ltd is seeking an Experienced Roof Tradesperson to join our established team in South Windsor, NSW. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on diverse roofing projects on residential properties across Sydney. As an Experienced Roof Tradesperson, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality roofing solutions whilst maintaining our reputation for excellence and client satisfaction. This role requires someone with proven expertise in roof installation, repair and maintenance who can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

- Install, repair and maintain roofs using various materials including tiles, metal sheets and other roofing systems

- Inspect roof structures and identify areas requiring repair or replacement

- Apply protective coatings, sealants and weatherproofing materials to ensure durability and longevity

- Work safely at heights and comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and site requirements

- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure adherence to project timelines, compliance and quality standards

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a qualified roof tradesperson

- Current and valid trade qualifications or apprenticeship completion in roofing

- Current Australian Driver's Licence (essential)

- Current White Card, or willingness to obtain one (essential)

- Working at Heights certification, or willingness to obtain one (essential)

- Police & Working with Children checks (essential)

- Asbestos Awareness certification, or willingness to obtain one

- Excellent physical fitness and the ability to work safely at heights





- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices and adherence to workplace safety protocols

- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot roofing issues effectively

- Reliable, punctual and professional with a strong work ethic
