Foamland is a proudly Tasmanian owned and operated business supplying the furnishing industry at a retail and wholesale level with stores in Hobart and Launceston .
We have a full time position available for a Retail Service Person and Foam Cutter in our Hobart store. The working week will be Tuesday to Friday plus a 5 hour shift on Saturday.
This is a hands on position. You will need to meet the following criteria:
● Must have thorough and accurate understanding of measurement.
● Have good organisational skills, time management and the ability to prioritise work.
● Be motivated and have the ability to work unsupervised.
● Some computer skills will be an advantage.
- You will need to be physically fit as some heavy lifting will be required.
- Drivers licence essential.
The position will primarily involve retail and trade sales plus cutting foam to order. Additionally there is a wide range of products such as upholstery vinyl and fabrics, carpet and rubber which need to be accurately measured and cut off the roll.
A knowledge of foam products is not essential as training will be provided.
