About the role

Team Global Express is currently seeking an experienced MC Driver to join our team in Emerald. This is a permanent full-time opportunity for a safety-focused driver who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and maintaining high professional standards on the road.

In this role, you will be responsible for completing scheduled pick-ups and deliveries across the region, ensuring freight is transported safely, efficiently, and within designated timeframes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Completing pick-ups and deliveries in accordance with operational schedules and customer requirements

- Safely operating a range of automatic and manual heavy vehicles

- Conducting thorough pre-start and vehicle safety inspections

- Ensuring freight is loaded, restrained, and transported in line with company and safety requirements

- Correctly using load restraint equipment,



including straps and chains where required

- Following all company policies, procedures, and safe work practices

- Reporting hazards, near misses, incidents, and safety concerns in a timely manner

- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance requirements

- Contributing to a positive team culture with a strong commitment to safety and customer service

At Team Global Express, 82% of our employees believe our remuneration is competitive or above industry standards. In recognition of the unique operating environment in Emerald, we offer a Location Allowance in addition to your standard hourly rate.

The successful applicant will also receive 15% superannuation, with the Location Allowance applying to all ordinary hours worked.
