Hawkesbury Race Club Motel is a busy 4-star motel located in the grounds of the Hawkesbury Race Club located in the picturesque Hawkesbury Valley. We pride ourselves on providing a comfortable and welcoming experience for our guests.

Reporting directly to the Motel Operations Manager, our Reception Team Member role is a key part of the daily motel operations by maintaining a high level of customer service with efficiency and reliability.

The key responsibilities will include:

- Providing a high standard of customer service to all guests, at all times.

- Completing the front office procedures with a consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and providing room keys.

- Process all payment types such as room and other charges.

- Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges.

- Answer, record, and process all guest correspondence, emails, messages, questions or concerns.

- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.

- Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest. run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.





- Communicating the relevant information to management as required in a professional manner.

- Setting up and managing the daily breakfast operations.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A can-do, responsible, and adaptable approach to work with a strong work ethic.

- Prior experience in a front office function.

- Exceptional customer service skills, including a friendly customer service manner and attitude.

- Be reliable and punctual with a proven ability to be a proactive individual with strong organisational and time management skills.

- Excellent communication skills.

- A passion for exceeding guest expectations and providing a high standard of customer service.

- A strong eye for detail.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Exceptional personal presentation and grooming.

This role is for Saturdays only. You will be required to work 3 out of 4 Saturdays with 1 overnight stay (with night phone) required in that period, working from 7am - 5:00pm.
