As a Maintenance Technician you will support the overhaul and refurbishment of rotating plant and equipment, helping keep operations running well. You will contribute to a safe, clean, and orderly workshop, working in line with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Help maintain accurate Inspection and Test Plans and supporting documentation, checking in with the Operations Manager to clarify any discrepancies.
- Support the identification of non‑conforming items and help ensure measuring, test, and lifting equipment is properly handled, stored, calibrated or inspected before use.
- Check shelf‑life dates on relevant products and acceptance documentation for incoming materials and help protect equipment from damage in the workshop and during transport.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures, wear required PPE and come to work fit for duty.
- Help report hazards, injuries, or incidents where they arise,
and support risk assessments and safety improvements when needed.
- Contribute to a clean, organized workspace, use the correct tools for the job, and take part in ongoing safety training and awareness programs.
What You Bring
- Solid mechanical engineering knowledge, gained through trade training or hands‑on experience.
- Comfortable following procedures and instructions with care and consistency.
- A good work ethic, paired with a genuine willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- Relevant trade certificate required.
- Rigging certificate would be an advantage.
- Forklift certification would be an advantage.
