As part of Etymon Projec ts, we continue to grow with the recent opening of Loulou Ca fé and our recent Airport locati on, significantly increasing our daily production requirements. This growth presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced production baker to help shape the future of our bakery operations.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Baker to help lead and optimise our expanding production bakery. This is a highly hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working at scale while maintaining exceptional product quality.

Reporting to the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing large‑scale daily production, identifying operational efficiencies, and helping build systems that support our continued growth. You'll bring a continuous improvement mindset and have the confidence to conduct a full operational review of our production processes, recommending and implementing changes that improve workflow, productivity, consistency, and capacity.

While production is the primary focus, there is also opportunity to contribute creatively through product development, process innovation, and refining recipes for large‑scale production.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day production of artisan breads, pastries and bakery products across multiple
- venues.Execute high-volume production while maintaining exceptional consistency and q
- uality.Conduct a full review of bakery workflows, equipment utilisation and production processes to identify opportunities for greater effi




- ciency.Implement improvements that increase production capacity without compromising product q
- uality.Develop and maintain production schedules that meet the demands of multiple
- sites.Collaborate with the Head Baker on new product development and scaling recipes for commercial prod
- uction.Train, mentor and develop the production bakery team to improve capability and consi
- stency.Monitor inventory, waste management and ingredient utilisation to maximise produc
- tivity.Ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and quality assurance are maintained.

What We're Looking for

- Extensive experience within a commercial or production bakery envi
- ronment.Strong understanding of high-volume bakery production and workflow man
- agement.Demonstrated ability to identify operational efficiencies and improve production pr
- ocesses.Experience producing artisan breads, sourdoughs and laminated products a
- t scale.A hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside the team on the productio
- n floor.Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing production pri
- orities.A continuous improvement mindset with excellent problem-solving
- skills.Passion for quality craftsmanship while understanding the demands of commercial production
