The Opportunity

As a key member of the Corporate Finance Team, the Corporate Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial information. This role provides a strong foundation for the ongoing finance control management of corporate entities. Working closely with the broader Corporate Finance team, the primary responsibility of the role is to ensure transactions are processed and accounted for accurately, with a focus on month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, KPI analysis, and assisting on management reporting commentary. The role also requires strong organisational skills to effectively manage workloads and consistently meet reporting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Process cash and other journal entries in the general ledger
- Monitor daily cash balance, prepare cash flow forecast
- Liaise with Payroll / AP / Treasury team to initiate and coordinate internal funds transfers
- Prepare account leads schedule and supporting documentation, investigate and resolve aged balances, address review comments and queries
- Raise and process intercompany recharge invoices in timely manner.
- Support divisional meeting requirements, including: marketing, Technology Operations and HR teams.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and group facilities register
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly KPI meetings
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual audit packs, statutory financial statements,



and respond to audit queries as required
- Support the preparation of BAS, FBT returns, and income tax returns
- Undertake ad hoc tasks and project work as required by the manager and/or executive team.

About You

The successful applicant will ideally possess a minimum of 3 -5 years full time accounting experience post-graduation. Additional skills and experience required include:

- Completed Accounting/Business degree with a major in accounting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of ERP systems and end-to-end financial system processes
- Technologically adept, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Collaborative team player with a positive and constructive attitude
- Able to perform effectively under pressure while meeting strict deadlines
