Kimberley Regional Service Providers (KRSP) delivers essential services, capital works, and municipal services to Indigenous communities across Western Australia’s remote Kimberley region. They manage power, water, and wastewater systems and perform critical maintenance and capital works that improve the quality of life of Indigenous communities. KRSP operates from its Broome headquarters with workshops in Broome and Perth.

Location and roster

This is a permanent full‑time role based in Broome, Western Australia. The roster can be Monday to Friday or a longer swing basis for the right candidate. Local Kimberley residents are encouraged to apply.

About the role





We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join a small team that undertakes works on KRSP assets within Broome and exciting housing projects in Fitzroy Crossing. The ideal candidate will be self‑driven, work unsupervised, and be willing to work in regional areas, including overnight stays.

Requirements

An ability to demonstrate a high work ethic, integrity, and secure work practices combined with a positive mindset.

- Aptitude to solve problems as they arise
- Ability to read and decipher plans
- Self‑motivated and resourceful, capable of working independently and in a small team
- Current C class driver’s licence with a clean driving history
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
