Our client is a successful, family‑owned manufacturer entering an exciting phase of growth. They're seeking an experienced Financial Controller to strengthen financial discipline, provide commercial insight, and help build a scalable finance function that supports the next stage of the business.

Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll be a true business partner, balancing hands‑on financial leadership with strategic thinking to improve performance, enhance decision‑making, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

- Lead the end‑to‑end finance function.
- Deliver monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Provide commercial insights and forward‑looking analysis to support business decisions.
- Implement strong financial controls, governance and scalable processes.
- Improve systems, reporting and operational efficiency.
- Partner with the Directors to drive growth and performance.
- Manage external accountants and ensure statutory compliance.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, including offshore support.

Profile

- CA or CPA qualified.
- Strong technical accounting and commercial finance capability.
- Experience implementing financial controls,



governance and reporting improvements.
- Manufacturing, industrial or product‑based industry experience, with strong costing knowledge.
- A hands‑on, commercially minded approach with the ability to think strategically.
- Experience in privately owned or family businesses will be highly regarded.
