About the Business

Our client is a leading Australian hardware and software business in the HVAC space, best known for its heat pump and air conditioning ranges — all connected through its own EMS platform and app. The business is growing fast, with commercial hot water systems and battery storage products coming down the pipeline. Its Product team sits at the centre of the business, working across R&D;, sales, marketing, logistics, and customer support to bring new products to life and keep existing ones running smoothly and compliantly.

The Opportunity

As the product range grows, so does the detail behind the scenes — supplier coordination, compliance paperwork, project tracking, and cross-department communication. Our client is looking for a switched-on, highly organised coordinator to take on this detail so the Product and R&D; leads can focus on the bigger decisions.

This is a genuine career-building opportunity. You'll work closely with an experienced product and engineering team, learning how a manufacturing business brings hardware and software to market from the ground up — and as the business grows, so will the seniority and scope of this role.

What You'll Do

- Coordinate operations across two product streams: improvements to existing products, and support for new product development.
- Manage the end-to-end rollout whenever a product changes — from supplier orders through to marketing collateral, sales briefings, and logistics — keeping every department aligned and on schedule.




- Own the documentation and submission process for government energy efficiency scheme approvals (e.g. VEECs/CEC-type registrations), including responding to information requests.
- Track project actions and act as the connective tissue between Product, R&D;, tech support, marketing, and suppliers.
- Support broader product governance and compliance activities as the product range expands into new categories.

What We're Looking For

- 1–3 years' experience in a coordination, operations, project support, or similar admin-heavy role — ideally with an interest in product, technology, or manufacturing.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once without dropping the ball.
- Sharp attention to detail — in this role, a small error in a spec or document can have real downstream consequences.
- Confidence communicating and coordinating across departments and with external suppliers.
- A genuine eagerness to learn and grow — this is not a box-ticking role, and the ideal candidate wants to build a long-term career here.

Nice to have (not essential — happy to train)

experience with government energy scheme compliance (VEECs/CEC), or a background/degree in project or product management.
