We are seeking experienced Auto Electrician looking for a permanent opportunity to join our dynamic maintenance team in Collinsville.

General Requirements

Candidates must hold a relevant trade certificatePost-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry essential.Alignment to our principles: Integrity, Accountability, Innovation & DeliverCurrent Standard 11, a current open drivers’ licence and relevant coal mining certificationsWork safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System

About The Role

As an Auto Electrician -

Perform the servicing,



repair and maintenance of mobile mining equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing and maintenance proceduresComplete general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component change outs to a high regardConduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisationProvide high-quality installations including mountings, wiring and testing of equipment

Role Requirements

Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalentRefrigerated handling license advantageousPost-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry.Experience in general service, maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and proper diagnostics, Computer system JDE, OEM computer-based systems, Cat, Cummins, Hitachi and Liebherr.
