Now Energy is seeking experienced Civil Construction Workers for an immediate start on a major infrastructure project in the Tamworth region.
These are local hire positions only, with no accommodation or LAFHA provided. The project is expected to run for approximately 3 months, with the potential for extension.

Available Roles Excavator Operators (Up to 30T) Pay Rate: $44.01/hr + overtime rates + meal & travel allowances

Responsibilities

- Operate excavators up to 30 tonnes
- Bulk and detailed trenching
- Excavation around underground services
- Assist with underground electrical infrastructure works
- Complete pre-starts and maintain plant safely

Essential

- Current RII Excavator Ticket
- Proven experience operating excavators up to 30T

Roller Operator / Civil Labourer Pay Rate: $42.87/hr + overtime rates + meal & travel allowances
Responsibilities

- Operate rollers on civil construction projects
- Compaction and reinstatement works
- General civil labouring duties
- Support excavation and installation crews

Essential

- Current RII Roller Ticket
- Previous roller operating experience
- Willing to undertake labouring duties when required

Skilled Civil Labourers Pay Rate:



$40.65/hr + overtime rates + meal & travel allowances
Responsibilities

- Install underground electrical pits and conduits
- Trenching and backfilling
- Assist with underground services installation
- General civil construction duties
- Work safely within a productive site team

Essential

- Proven experience with underground electrical pit and conduit installation
- Previous civil construction experience

Essential Requirements (All Roles)
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen if required
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work within a team

Highly Regarded
- Previous Transgrid project experience
- Experience on transmission lines, substations or renewable energy projects
- Additional civil plant tickets
- Working around live services
