About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Assistant General Manager to Help lead the operations of a large, community-focused Club in the vibrant southern suburbs. This well-established venue feature’s function rooms, a bistro, a gaming lounge, and expansive balcony facilities. You will oversee all aspects of the Club’s operations, reporting directly to the General Manager and playing a pivotal role in its continued growth and success.

Availability will include working nights and weekends on a 7 days a week roster

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the day-to-day operations of a multi-outlet Club including bistro, gaming, functions, and bar areas

· Provide strong leadership and direction to all departments and staff

· Drive a positive team culture focused on service excellence and accountability

· Help Oversee HR functions: recruitment, staff training, rostering, performance management





· Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, licensing, RSA and RSG standards

· Manage budgets, financial reporting, and business performance indicators

· Work collaboratively with the Club General Manager on strategic planning and reporting

Skills and Experience

· Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar senior leadership or Assistant Manager role in a Club or hospitality venue

· Proven leadership ability in a rapid-paced, multi-department environment

· Extensive HR experience and ability to build and manage high-performing teams

· Strong understanding of Club operations, gaming, and hospitality service delivery

· Demonstrated financial acumen and experience managing budgets and KPIs

· RSA and RSG certifications (mandatory)

· Previous experience reporting to a board or committee highly regarded
