About the Role

Join our interprofessional team supporting over 200 learners across Eastern Health, with a particular focus on learners during their general nursing rotations. The Transition to Practice (Graduate) Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for delivering the program requirements across all Eastern Health sites. Responsibilities include marketing, bulk intake recruitment, supporting learner health, wellbeing and performance, liaising with the graduate representative group, planning and evaluating formal profession‑specific and interprofessional study day programs, monitoring program requirements and planning rotations of learners across the health service.

Qualifications

- Condition‑free AHPRA registration
- Relevant postgraduate qualification to profession
- Clinical experience with education programs, including experience supervising learners (students, graduates)
- Demonstrated leadership with ability to inspire, influence and motivate staff, fostering a positive learning culture
- Organisational and planning skills with solid attention to detail
- Advanced interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, leadership and conflict management, to facilitate effective team functioning
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Leadership or participation in education and research
- Experience recruiting novice learners using values‑based recruitment




- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Experience in interprofessional education

Vaccination Requirements

Seasonal influenza vaccination is a mandatory requirement of this role and employment is conditional on the vaccination being up to date prior to employment. Health care workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID‑19 vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation Handbook. Vaccination and screening for immunity to vaccine‑preventable disease is mandatory.
