We are currently seeking Experienced Poly Welder’s on a 2/1 roster.
Kalgoorlie residential applicants are preferred; however, all applicants will be considered with Perth as point of hire for FIFO operations.

JOB INFORMATION:

- Work with Pipeline crews installing bore fields, tails dams & processing plant pipelines

- Perform various types of HDPE welding including Electrofusion, Butt, Socket & Extrusion and completing welding to parameter calculations

- Complete Pre-start checklists, JHA’s and Take 5’s in accordance with HSE policies and procedures

- Using a variety of major brands of Poly Welding machines up to 630mm

- Installation, testing & commissioning of pipe & pump systems





- Transporting & set up of equipment & materials to facilitate welding

REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test

- National Police Clearance (within the last 30 days)

- WA Drivers License (preferrable LR and above, but manual C class still considered based on upgrading to LR within 3 months of commencement)

- Construction White Card (WA)

- Previous poly welding experience (2 years) - Mandatory

- Socket and butt welding experience and experience with install/welding pipelines in and around mills

- Understanding of dewatering and pipework systems within the mining industry

- Demonstrated understanding of chainsaw operations and ticket or willingness to obtain course ticket with valid experience - Preferred (AHCMOM213)

- Welding Qualifications – Butt Weld - Mandatory (PMBWELDS01A/PMBWELD301E)

- Welding Qualification - Electrofusion - Preferred (PMBWELD302E / PMBWELD302D)

- Welding Qualification - Extrusion - Preferred (PMBWELD309E)

- Valid Working Rights
