Wingham Mechanical is an automotive workshop in Wingham, NSW 2429, and we are seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Currently we have a position available for a workshop manager and a qualified light vehicle mechanic.

We are looking for someone with:
· A trade qualification in automotive light vehicle repair or a related field
· More than 4 years of relevant work experience, with proven extensive knowledge and demonstrated competency in all aspects of light vehicle maintenance and repair
. Experience in a workshop management or supervisory role. Applicants perhaps lacking experience but with a strong willingness to learn and succeed will be considered
.
Ability to manage and lead a team of staff and keep the workshop running smoothly
· AIS AUVIS and eSafety (ASCIS) inspector accreditation preferred
· Automotive air conditioning experience desirable
· Tyre fitting and wheel alignment experience
· Exhaust system and general fabrication experience preferred but not essential
· A current driver’s license
· Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
· A genuine interest in mechanical work
· The ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team
· Basic computer and invoicing skills
Tasks and responsibilities include but not limited to:
. Providing exceptional customer service. Always.
. Managing Jobs, workflow and delegation of jobs to staff
. Answering phones, taking books and customer enquiries
. Ordering parts and organising jobs
. Quoting, invoicing and liaising with customers about works required
. Opening and closing of workshop daily
. Carrying out mechanical work when required
. Diagnosing of vehicle faults
. Reviewing of financials with owner and ensuring workplace is meeting targets
. Working to increase bookings and grow the workplace
