Full-Time Early Childhood Teacher
12-Month Contract | 35 Hours per Week
Forbes Children’s Centre is seeking a passionate and motivated Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team in our Toddler Room (2–3.5 years).
This is a part-time, 12-month contract position, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.

About the Role
You will join a caring and collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality education and care that nurtures each child’s wellbeing, confidence, and lifelong love of learning.
While availability across a rotating roster between 6:45am and 6:15pm is a requirement, we understand the value of stability. Wherever possible, we support our educators with consistent shift patterns to promote continuity for children, families, and staff.
About You
You are an educator who brings enthusiasm, initiative, and a strong commitment to early childhood pedagogy. You will demonstrate:
• A genuine passion for teaching and learning in the early years
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
• Robust organisational and time-management capabilities
• Confidence in using professional judgment and reflective practice
• Ability to work positively and collaboratively within a team
• Understanding of primary caregiving and attachment-based approaches, highly regarded
• Knowledge and application of the EYLF
• Experience with, or interest in, Circle of Security and Marte Meo (desirable)
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or approved equivalent)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current RRHAN-EC training
• Demonstrated experience in early childhood settings (toddler experience highly regarded)
