Certificate 3 in Engineering - Fabrication [MEM 30305]
Statewide Apprenticeships are seeking an apprentice boiler maker/welder working on truck trays/trailers/tanks in Adelaide’s north.
The position is a full-time apprenticeship, working a minimum of 38 hours per week. The position will be paid as per the relevant award unless otherwise advised.
We are looking for someone who has a desire and passion to work in the industry and has an understanding of what an apprenticeship in Boiler making is about. You will also need the right aptitude and have a strong desire to learn.
Duties may include
- Perform engineering measurements
- Welding using multiple techniques
- Cutting, grinding
- Repair/replace/modify fabrications
- Use of power tools and hand tools
About you
- Have a robust passion for welding
- Be committed to undertaking a 48 month apprenticeship
- Possess a driver’s licence
- Be physically fit
- Willing to learn & work in an active & changing environment
- Have a strong work ethic & takes pride in quality workmanship
