Our School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) and Green Pathways programs help young people build confidence, develop practical work skills and prepare for meaningful employment through real workplace experiences in supportive environments.

About the Role

As a Casual SLES & Green Pathways Support Worker, you'll support participants to develop work readiness, independence and employability skills through mentoring, coaching and practical workplace experiences.

You'll work across a variety of employment pathway settings, including our Green Pathways plant nursery, CoPack manufacturing, Retail Shopping Village, Café and other community-based programs, helping participants build confidence and achieve their individual goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Support participants to develop work readiness and employability skills.

- Encourage confidence, independence and positive workplace behaviours.





- Assist participants during workplace learning and community-based activities.

- Support activities across our Green Pathways plant nursery, CoPack manufacturing, Retail Shopping Village, Café and other employment pathway settings.

- Complete participant documentation and progress notes.

- Work collaboratively with participants, families and the Fairhaven team.

- Promote safe work practices and a positive team setting.

About You

- Passionate about supporting people with disability.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Reliable, flexible and team-oriented.

- Ability to build positive relationships with participants.

Experience

- Experience in disability, community services, education, mentoring or employment supports is highly regarded.

- We also welcome applicants with transferable skills from horticulture, retail, hospitality, manufacturing or customer service who are passionate about supporting others.

Essential Requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.

- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.

- Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence.

- Australian working rights.
