We seek reliable, team-oriented individuals with high integrity who will positively contribute to the company's success. Position available across our site and work locations in NSW, SA, WA and VIC. Duties for this role include but may not be limited to:

Study plans and specifications, and preparing templates and scale plans for fabrication and cutting of hull sections Mark reference points and lines on drydocks and slipways Determine repair requirements and procedure

Assembling shells of boats and erecting hull sections of ship Erect and prepare launching platforms, conduct pre-launch tests and supervise launching procedures Install masts, frames, decking, fittings, machines, shafts, and safety equipment





Install and repair of marine structures, bulkheads, decking, and cabinetry Fit out interiors including joinery, cabinetry, and fine finishing work Perform hull repairs, modifications, and refits to meet safety and design standards

Pump & rotating equipment repair, upgrade and testing Laser alignment and vibrating analysis of equipment Valve, flange and heat exchanger removal, overhaul and testing

Clean, buff or polish valves and valve components May make hull moulds and fabricate and repair vessels using materials such as aluminium, wood, glass, reinforced plastics, carbon fibre, fibreglass, and concrete The right person for this role must have:

Proficient in construction, structural repairs, maintenance, and restoration of wooden, composite, and fiberglass vessels Knowledge of modern boatbuilding techniques, adhesives, resins, and lamination processes Proficient in the use of traditional hand tools as well as modern power tools and machinery

Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance with maritime standards Skilled in problem-solving and fault diagnosis in structural and aesthetic issues Ability to work independently or as part of a team in workshop or dockyard environments

Ability to meet deadlines and client requirements Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship with a focus on quality finishes Proficient in the use of traditional hand tools as well as modern power tools and machinery
