About the role

DT and S Contracting' is seeking experienced Skilled Plant operators to join our team on an ongoing casual basis. . This is an exciting opportunity to work with an industry-leading construction and contracting company working within the green energy sector. The successful candidates will play a key role in executing essential construction activities on site.

What you'll be doing

- Operating heavy equipment such as excavators, skidsteer loaders, and medium rigid trucks.

- Performing skilled labour tasks such as operating hand and power tools, reading plans and specifications, and assisting with the construction and installation of various structures

- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards

- Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for





- Proven experience as a Skilled machine operator with a strong understanding of construction techniques and methods in the civil construction field

- Proficient in the safe operation of hand and power tools, as well as excavation equipment

- Excellent physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding manual tasks

- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality

- Effective communication and teamwork skills

- Relevant industry certifications or licences would be highly regarded

- Must be able to pass regular and random drug and alcohol testing
