Medical Reception and Administration Team Position(s)-casual/ full time.

Prosper Paediatrics provides reception and administration services to its associated paediatric specialists in private practice at our rooms in the inner eastern suburbs of Adelaide.

The right applicant will join our core administrative team to deliver high-quality reception and administrative services to our paediatric specialist providers and, on their behalf, to the children and their families in their care.

·Very strong competency and effectiveness in English verbal and written communication.

·Strong numeracy skills.

·Valid South Australian Working With Children Check.

·Resident in the Adelaide Metro area with adequate transport access to ensure readiness to commence and complete shifts in accordance with rosters and other reasonable work requests,

·Permanent Residency or Citizenship with unrestricted right to work in Australia, as we are seeking ongoing employment, and training requirements are significant

Desirable qualities:

·Medical reception and/or administrative experience or other team, customer or client-oriented experience.

·Knowledge of Genie medical software or similar.

·Tertiary education relevant to health, business administration,​or similar.

·Interest in growing a career in health administration or healthcare.

Hours:

We are seeking candidates who can usually work at least 15 hours a week and to recruit staff to the equivalent of at least 37.5 hours per week especially during school terms.

Staff are rostered for shifts of varying start and finish times to cover the practice's operational hours, from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm each business day.

Remuneration:





The role will be paid in accordance with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award, in line with the experience and skills of the successful candidate as these develop. We are seeking applicants who can at least start at level 3, preferably with the capacity to start or quickly develop to level 4 or higher.

Duties include:

·General reception, correspondence, filing and administration tasks in person and via email and phone using software and other electronic IT systems in accordance with policies and procedures.

·Communication and liaison with team members (including management), doctors, children, adolescents and parents in person, via phone, email and other messaging systems as per procedure​s.

·Light cleaning, tidying and general maintenance of a comfortable, clean, hygienic and organised environment as per procedures.

·Immediate cleaning of any spills/mess associated with the medical & paediatric nature of the practice.

·Performing all duties within patient & practitioner confidentiality requirements of the law and healthcare ethics, and seeking direction where unclear or circumstances are not typical.
