The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated, trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Workshop Team based at our Cavan branch. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for preparing current Hitachi and Bell equipment to customer specifications, as well as carrying out diagnostics, repairs and maintenance to ensure our machines are delivered and maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on new and used equipment
- Complete pre-delivery inspections, testing and equipment setup to customer specifications
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to OEM standards
- Accurately complete service documentation and reports
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment
- Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team to achieve service targets

About You

- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Mechanics or equivalent trade qualification
- Heavy Vehicle/Truck Mechanics are encouraged to apply
- Earthmoving equipment experience (highly regarded)
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Ability to effectively diagnose and solve technical issues
- Heavy Rigid and Forklift licences (preferred but not essential)
