- Leading initiatives that improve how safety is understood, applied and embedded into everyday work.
- Leading the design and continuous improvement of safety leadership, training and competency frameworks to support workforce development and organisational capability
- Supporting workforce health, wellbeing and behavioural safety initiatives.

- Providing advice on safety systems, governance, compliance and risk management.
- Leading investigations into significant incidents and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
- Driving workforce consultation and engagement activities to improve participation and safety outcomes.
- Supporting return-to-work and rehabilitation programs.
- Using data and insights to identify trends, manage risk and drive continuous improvement.
- Developing and reviewing policies, procedures and standards relating to safety and workforce capability.

- Strong working knowledge of safety legislation, risk management and industry best practice.
- The ability to earn the respect of project teams and influence positive behaviours on site.
- Experience coaching leaders and helping teams improve safety performance.
- Strong investigation skills and a practical approach to solving problems.
- A track record of improving systems, processes and safety outcomes.
