We're a manufacturer of plastic profile extrusions based in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.
We're after someone with a solid foundation in manual machining – lathe, mill, surface grinder, wire EDM – to join our Tooling and Maintenance area.
No two days look the same. You could be running improvement projects, doing repairs and maintenance, manufacturing tooling,
working through development and tuning trials, or supporting new product runs. It's diverse, hands-on work for someone who likes solving problems rather than just following the same routine.
There's some documentation involved too – recording changes, improvements and the like – so you'll need to be reasonably comfortable with a computer. Nothing fancy, just enough to keep good records.
Here's the thing: the skills you'll build in this role are a niche, genuinely interesting application of the trade you already have – and they're in demand everywhere. Master them here, and you're equipped to work anywhere in the world.
