About the roleCEQ is seeking two Community Enterprise & Stakeholder Engagement Managers to lead stakeholder engagement, business growth and community partnerships across our Aboriginal Business Industry & Services (ABIS) and Islanders Board of Industry & Services (IBIS) store networks. Based at CEQ Cairns Support Office, these roles work closely with communities, government, service providers and key stakeholders to build strong partnerships and support positive outcomes across remote communities throughout Mainland Queensland, Far North Queensland, Cape York Peninsula and the Gulf of Carpentaria, as well as across the Inner and Outer Torres Strait Islands.The roles are responsible for developing strategic relationships that support community, economic and business outcomes, while identifying opportunities for growth, enterprise development and network expansion. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in some of Australia's most remote and culturally significant communities while contributing to the ongoing success of CEQ and the people we serve.Partnering with a cross-cultural, geographically dispersed team from Cairns to Cape York Peninsula, Gulf of Carpentaria, North Queensland and the Torres Strait Islands,



the Community Enterprise & Stakeholder Engagement Manager will work in alignment with the CEQ vision and values and plays an integral role in ensuring the ongoing success and reputation of CEQ as an employer of choice.
Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 3 years experience working in a similar role within a large and complex business is preferred.Previous experience with the design and implementation of business development strategies is desirable.Current open 'c' class Queensland driver's license.Intermediate to advanced level of competency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Key Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited toBuild and maintain strategic relationships with communities, local governments, Traditional Owners, community organisations and key stakeholders to support positive social, economic and business outcomes for CEQ. Lead stakeholder and community engagement activities, including consultations, community feedback forums, presentations, communications materials and promotional initiatives that strengthen CEQ's brand, reputation and community connections. Identify and support business growth opportunities, enterprise development and store network expansion through research, stakeholder partnerships and community-led initiatives. Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies across multiple platforms, including social media, corporate communications, media releases, events and public forums. Support land tenure, land administration and infrastructure-related matters, including engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and trustees, to achieve outcomes aligned with CEQ's strategic priorities. Contribute to IBIS and ABIS store tenure resolution activities and assist with the delivery of CEQ's network growth and expansion strategies.Prepare stakeholder briefings, reports and presentations for senior leadership and the Board, including monitoring and reporting on engagement outcomes, opportunities and areas for improvement. Collaborate with store networks,



internal teams and stakeholders to identify customer needs, strengthen community partnerships and support CEQ's mission, vision and values.Other reasonable duties as requested by Senior Leadership or the CEO.
Essential RequirementsThis role requires regular travel to all CEQ stores within Queensland, including in the Torres Strait Region, Northern Peninsula Area, Cape York, North Queensland including Palm IslandStrong business acumen, understanding the business implications of decisions, effective stakeholder management and a proven ability to negotiate and align work with the strategic goals of the businessAbility to work in a resource limited environment, and through ambiguityExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentialityAbility to problem solve through swift identification and resolution of problems, effective planning and high level of organisational skillsEthical approach to all duties and responsibilities, including by treating others with respect, effective conflict resolution and meeting all commitments.Ability to work in a cross-cultural team environment and provide peer support to other team membersBuild and foster collegial relationships across all teams in the business to ensure high team member engagement, productivity and the success of CEQ.
