Losugen is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to support our Finance Manager on a permanent part-time basis.

Previous SAP user experience would be desirable but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Process month-end journals and assist with close procedures

- Maintain leave schedules (Annual Leave and Long Service Leave) and monthly accruals

- Run monthly depreciation in SAP

- Prepare fortnightly payroll journals

- Calculate and process statutory payments, including BAS, IAS, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax

- Perform balance sheet reconciliations

- Complete bank reconciliations for AUD and USD accounts

- Post international HO payments and allocate invoices in SAP

- Process month-end Goods in Transit (GIT) entries

- Monthly foreign currency revaluations and related journals





- Maintain schedules for prepayments, accruals, payroll tax, and other key accounts

- Manage monthly credit card expense processes, including employee follow-ups and allocations

- Reconcile monthly and quarterly freight provisions

- Post reversal journals at the start of each month

- Prepare and distribute weekly debtors reports

- Assist with quarterly and annual audits

- Post vendor invoices related to end-of-month payments (e.g. professional fees, novated leases, audit fees)

- Support yearly Fringe Perks Tax (FBT) and payroll tax reconciliations

- Prepare EFT payment files for creditor payments
