Dental Assistant

Bay Family Dental is seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team.

We are a contemporary, patient-focused practice located just off Jetty Road in Glenelg. Our team is passionate about providing high-quality dentistry in a welcoming and supportive setting, and we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to exceptional patient care.

About the Role

As a Dental Assistant, you'll play an key role in helping our clinicians deliver outstanding patient care. Your duties will include:

- Chairside assistance across a wide range of dental procedures

- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms

- Instrument sterilisation and infection control procedures

- Managing clinical stock and supplies

- Taking and processing radiographs (where qualified)

- Assisting with patient communication and comfort

- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice





What We're Looking For

- A positive and professional attitude

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Solid attention to detail

- A genuine desire to care for patients

- Ability to work well within a team

- Dental assisting experience is preferred but not essential

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting is advantageous
