Environmental Industries is a leading Construction, Commercial Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance company, providing services throughout Western Australia. We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Operations Manager to lead our North & Northwest Maintenance Divisions, drive sustainable business growth, strengthen client partnerships, and deliver operational excellence across our landscape maintenance operations.

This is a senior leadership role based in Carabooda, responsible for leading Area Managers and operational teams across the North and Northwest Divisions. Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving division performance, identifying and securing growth opportunities, developing key client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of maintenance services across a growing portfolio of contracts.

The Position

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Landscape Maintenance North and Northwest Divisions to achieve both the Company's purpose of delivering and maintaining inspiring spaces for WA communities and the Division's operational and commercial objectives. A key focus of this role is the growth of the Maintenance Division through client relationship management, contract retention, contract expansion, and the identification of current business opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and manage the Landscape Maintenance Divisions and its operational teams to achieve business objectives.

- Drive divisional performance across revenue, profitability, productivity, safety, and client satisfaction.

- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sustainable revenue growth and increased market share.





- Build, strengthen, and manage key client relationships to maximise contract retention and growth opportunities.

- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within the commercial landscaping and grounds maintenance sectors.

- Support tendering, pricing, contract negotiations, and business development initiatives.

- Develop and monitor divisional goals, KPIs, budgets, and improvement initiatives.

- Oversee compliance with legislative, contractual, and company requirements.

- Lead a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental management systems.

- Identify opportunities for operational improvement, innovation, and service excellence.

- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, leadership, and team development.

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Proven experience in a senior management role within landscape maintenance, commercial landscaping, horticulture, facilities management, or a related service industry.

- Strong business development and client relationship management experience.

- A demonstrated history of identifying and securing new business opportunities and growing existing client portfolios.

- Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, contract management, and profitability analysis.

- Demonstrated success in achieving revenue, financial, and operational objectives.

- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Demonstrated project and contract management experience.

- A commitment to workplace health,



safety, and environmental compliance.

- The ability to lead change, drive continuous improvement, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Requirements

- Current Driver's Licence.

- National Police Clearance.

- Strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements.

Desirable Qualifications

- Qualification in Landscaping, Horticulture, or a related discipline.

- Qualification in Leadership, Management or Project Management.
