Role Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist within our Surface Ships team in Osborne, SA. In this role, you will be responsible to perform a range of quality assurance activities, ensuring quality practices are being effectively deployed.

Core Duties:

Conduct internal audits, supplier audits, and provide support with corrective and preventative actionsConduct Quality Investigations as requiredProvide coaching, advice and support to stakeholders on quality assurance related matters and processesUndertake quality process system activities including quality assurance reviews and validate data to ensure it meets program requirementsChampion the quality assurance activities, ensuring quality standards/outcomes are achieved and in line with quality standards, program and company requirementsCollaborate effectively and build positive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders,



maintaining a positive cultureSupport and implement continuous improvement and quality engineering/assurance improvement activitiesContribute to the management and effectiveness of the “business management system” process asset library

About You

Demonstrated quality assurance experience and individuals with experience in shipbuilding, engineering or in a relevant field, will also be consideredAn understanding of Quality, Safety, Environmental & Asset Management Standards (9001, 45001, 14001, 55001) and practicesProficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, the ability to develop reports and documentsGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build valuable relationships with a range of stakeholdersWhilst not essential, a Lead Auditor qualification or a relevant technical qualification, or Maritime industry experience, will be highly regarded
