Qualified Carpenters | Leading Hand Pathways

The W.A Carpentry Company is a growing Perth-based business delivering high-quality residential and commercial carpentry projects across the Perth metro area.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking for experienced, trade-qualified Carpenters to join our expanding team.

Our work is diverse, ranging from residential and commercial construction and renovations through to structural framing, cladding, 2nd fix and maintenance works. We're seeking reliable, trade-qualified carpenters who take pride in their workmanship. Experience with steel framing will be highly regarded.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled carpenters looking for consistent work, strong earning potential, and a genuine pathway into Leading Hand positions as our business continues to grow.

The Role

You will be involved in a variety of carpentry works, including:

- Timber frame construction

- Steel frame construction

- Structural wall framing

- Roof framing and roof carpentry

- Truss and rafter installation

- First and second fix carpentry

- Fibre cement and architectural cladding

- Commercial fit-outs and refurbishment projects

- Residential renovations and extensions

- Multi-storey apartment fit-outs

- Reading and interpreting construction plans

- Occasional regional project work (with meals and accommodation supplied)

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent)

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified carpenter

- Experience across a range of carpentry disciplines

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans

- Strong understanding of safe work practices

- Own tools and reliable transport

- Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail

- Pride in delivering quality workmanship

Desirable

- Working at Heights ticket

- EWP ticket

- Skid Steer Loader ticket

- Experience leading small crews

- Current First Aid Certificate
