About Your New Role

As a valued member of the Open Minds team, you will provide support to clients with disabilities and complex support needs. Working across our In-Home and Community Access Services, you will play an important role in creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment while helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life. This role includes a rotating roster across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and sleepover shifts.

About You

- Experience supporting people with psychosocial disabilities, mental health challenges, or disability support needs
- Confident providing personal care and manual handling support, including the use of mobility aids and hoists (highly desirable)
- Understanding of working with clients who have complex support needs (highly desirable)
- Friendly, outgoing, and empathetic approach to supporting others
- Solid communication skills and ability to complete case notes and documentation accurately
- Flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including sleepovers and early mornings

Requirements

- Current Open Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Comprehensive vehicle insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Previous experience in disability support, mental health, or community services
