About You
Are you a driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? Join Dicker Data as an Internal Account Manager supporting our AV/UC portfolio and play a key role in driving growth across our reseller network.
This is a great opportunity to build your sales career within a leading ASX-listed IT distributor, working with top-tier vendors and a high-performing team.
What you will do in the role
Reporting to the Business Manager - AV/UC,
you’ll be responsible for managing sales opportunities end-to-end while delivering exceptional service to our reseller partners. You’ll act as a central point of contact, managing deal registrations, quotations, and vendor processes, while supporting pipeline growth and achieving team targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple vendor deal registrations, ensuring opportunities are tracked and progressed through the sales cycle
- Generate, issue, and follow up quotes to drive opportunities through to closure
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing reseller accounts
- Maintain accurate monthly forecasting across sales and annuity pipelines
- Support end-to-end sales processes including logistics, delivery coordination, and project timelines
- Act as a key point of contact for reseller enquiries, providing timely and accurate support
- Build and maintain strong reseller relationships, understanding key contacts and business needs
- Communicate product updates, pricing, and promotions to customers
- Manage vendor special pricing processes and claims submissions
- Deliver reseller training and enablement sessions where required
What you will need to succeed in the role
- Ability to obtain and maintain vendor certifications as required
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively,
and meet business and customer expectations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders at all levels
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of business administration processes, including ordering, invoicing, receipting, returns, and payment procedures
- Detailed knowledge of the relevant technology and distribution market
- High level of initiative, motivation, and enthusiasm
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills
- Advanced product and solution knowledge
- Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of achieving targets
- Professional, customer-focused, and results-driven approach
- Strong forecasting and pipeline management skills, with the ability to accurately track performance against monthly and quarterly budgets
