Pump Installer – Junior & Senior | Diverse Field Role Across WA
Flow Water Services – WA Based | Full-Time | Generous Site Allowances
Whether you're just starting out in the trades or you've got years of pump and mechanical experience under your belt - we want to hear from you.
Flow Water Services is a family-owned business thriving in the agricultural, industrial, and mining water industries across Western Australia. We're growing, and we're building a team that has room for people at every stage of their career.
About the Role
We're hiring at both junior and senior levels for a diverse, hands on field role delivering high quality pump installations across WA. Both positions are full-time and based primarily across the Pilbara and Perth, with fly-in/fly-out or drive up site rotations as required among a team of 2 to 5 staff. Our workshop is located in Bibra Lake.
No two weeks are the same, and that's exactly the point.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing, commissioning and servicing pump systems on remote and regional sites across WA
- Installing, operating, and maintaining dewatering systems including HDPE pipelines, diesel pumps, generators, and submersible bore pumps
- Working with diesel and electric pump systems for mine dewatering, water treatment, and agricultural applications
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Performing poly welding tasks to repair and fabricate components
- Coordinating with project teams to ensure timely and safe delivery
- Completing job documentation and reports
- Maintaining high safety standards and quality workmanship in all environments
Senior candidates will take on additional responsibility for site leadership, mentoring junior team members, and driving technical problem-solving on complex jobs.
Which Level Are You?
Junior Installer
You might be early in your trades career,
recently finished an apprenticeship, or come from a mechanical background and are keen to get into the field. You don't need to know everything — you need to be switched on, safety-conscious, and ready to learn.
- Mechanical aptitude or trade background (fitting, plumbing, diesel, or similar)
- WA C-Class Driver's Licence
- White Card (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to work away regularly
- Eagerness to develop your skills in a hands-on workplace
Senior Installer
You've been around pumps, dewatering systems, or similar mechanical plant and you're comfortable leading a job from start to finish. You bring technical confidence, a calm head on site, and you're happy bringing others up with you.
- Proven experience with pump installation, dewatering, or equivalent mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with confidence
- HR Licence desirable
- Poly Welding Ticket desirable
- Additional tickets (Telehandler, Dogman, Rigging) highly regarded
- National Police Clearance desirable
- Comfortable taking ownership of site safety and job quality
What We Offer
- Competitive pay reflecting your experience level - with room to grow into it
- Generous site allowances and work away bonuses
- Ongoing training and development
- A real career path, not just a job
- Supportive team and a culture built on getting the job done well
- Diverse project locations across WA - variety is guaranteed
