We're partnering with a leading enterprise organisation to secure an experienced Network Engineer who thrives on delivering complex infrastructure projects from planning through to implementation.

This is a highly hands-on role requiring someone who can take ownership of network and firewall projects, working autonomously while collaborating with a senior engineering team. You'll be responsible for delivering technical outcomes, including documentation, configuration, change implementation and after-hours migrations.

Fortinet experience is essential.

Candidates with experience delivering enterprise firewall migration projects, particularly across Fortinet environments, will be highly regarded.

What You'll Be Doing

- Deliver network and firewall projects from design through to implementation.
- Configure, deploy and support Fortinet firewall solutions.
- Complete technical documentation, implementation plans and change records.
- Execute network changes through formal change management processes.
- Perform planned after-hours migrations and cutovers.
- Configure and support enterprise routing, switching, WAN and network security environments.
- Troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
- Work alongside a senior engineer while taking ownership of your own deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across the network environment.

What We're Looking For
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (mandatory).




- Proven experience delivering enterprise network projects end-to-end.
- Strong hands-on Fortinet experience (essential).
- Experience implementing network changes, configurations and production deployments.
- Solid understanding of enterprise routing, switching, WAN and firewall technologies.
- Experience working within structured change management processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Willingness to participate in planned after-hours migration activities.

Highly Regarded
- Enterprise firewall migration experience.
- Fortinet certifications.
- Experience with Palo Alto or Cisco firewalls.
- MSP, Systems Integrator or Consulting background.
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
