THE ROLE:A rare General Manager appointment leading an established hospital within a regional site in NSW. This is an executive role carrying single-point accountability for the service's overall performance (budget, clinical quality, safety outcomes and strategic growth) backed by the resources, systems and reach of a national provider. You will also:Own the hospital’s overall performance, budget and qualityOwn the hospital’s overall performance, budget and qualityLead,



coach and develop a high-performing teamManage day-to-day operations, finances and complianceDrive service growth and new business opportunitiesDeliver clinical quality, safety and accreditationStrengthen relationships across community, sector and governmentShape workforce strategy across attraction, retention and successionChampion a secure, engaged and values-led workplace
MUST HAVE:Tertiary qualifications, preferably post graduate in management, business or health related fieldProven executive leadership of a hospital or comparable health serviceFull operational and financial (P&L;) accountability, including budget deliveryStrong clinical governance, accreditation and quality/safety credentialsA track record of strategic growth, business development and senior stakeholder engagementGenuine alignment with a mission- and values-led organisational culture
