Our client is seeking experienced Grounds Persons to assist with duties in roles located across Darwin and Greater Darwin areas

On a day to day basis, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Using mowers, slashers, trimmers, hedging equipment to maintain the upkeep of public grounds
- Watering grounds and maintaining sprinkler system
- Apply pesticides for the purpose of controlling insects and weeds
- Providing for the general upkeep of the grounds including litter removal
- Operating tractors where required on the grounds
- Store and maintain all custodial equipment in a protected manner and operating condition
- Cleaning of general areas and accommodations

To be considered for this role, you should:

- Have experience and knowledge of the safe operation of slashers,



trimmers, mowers, chainsaws and other related equipment
- Have experience with groundskeeping, landscaping and maintenance duties
- Have Experience operating tractors
- Possess knowledge and understanding of safe chemical use
- Own your own PPE
- Have a current Driver's License and own transport
- Provide us with a current National Police Check
