We're looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support a busy supermarket that's known for its fresh food, quality products and outstanding customer service.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help lead the team, keep the store running smoothly and create a shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.

About the role

As Assistant Store Manager, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day success of the store.

Your responsibilities will include:





- Supporting the Store Manager with the daily operation of the business
- Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team
- Driving sales, productivity and store standards
- Managing stock, merchandising and inventory control
- Delivering exceptional customer service across every department
- Supporting rostering, compliance and store administration
- Building strong relationships with customers and your local community

About you You'll bring:

- Experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager or Supervisor within supermarkets or grocery retail
- A hands-on leadership style and a genuine passion for developing people
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with KPIs
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to stay calm, organised and motivated in a busy retail environment
- A passion for fresh food, quality products and great customer service
