About the company
RELATBL is a recruitment and labour hire company that has achieved fantastic growth since its inception six years ago. We pride ourselves on our strong reputation, long-term client relationships and high-quality delivery across recruitment, labour hire and government recruitment processes.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to join our close-knit, high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is confident, commercially minded and motivated to play a key role in RELATBL’s next phase of growth.
About the role:
As a Senior Consultant – Recruitment and Business Development, you will play a key role in driving RELATBL's continued growth by building strong client relationships, developing new business opportunities and delivering high-quality recruitment and labour hire solutions.
Working closely with the Commonwealth Government, as well as other public and private sector clients, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, understanding workforce needs and connecting clients with exceptional talent. This is a highly visible role that combines recruitment expertise with business development, stakeholder engagement and account management.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being out in market - meeting clients, networking, generating opportunities and acting as an ambassador for the business.
Duties
Your responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:
- Driving business development and marketing activities, including identifying new opportunities, attending client meetings, networking events and industry forums, and promoting RELATBL’s recruitment and labour hire services
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including job briefings, advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offer management and contract negotiations
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, candidates and key stakeholders
- Building and maintaining a strong understanding of client workforce needs, particularly across Commonwealth Government and public sector environments
- Supporting marketing and brand awareness initiatives, including contributing ideas for social media content, recruitment campaigns, client communications and employer branding activities
- Preparing candidate submissions, proposals, tender responses, capability statements and other client-facing recruitment documentation
- Maintaining accurate records, databases and recruitment documentation
Our ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in 360-degree recruitment, ideally within labour hire, temporary or contract recruitment. Experience working with Commonwealth Government clients, panels or procurement environments will be highly regarded.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is proactive, relationship-focused and excited by the challenge of growing a business. You'll enjoy meeting new people, building trusted relationships and identifying opportunities to support clients with their workforce needs.
We value individuals who are:
- Relationship-Driven: You genuinely enjoy building connections with clients, candidates and industry contacts, and can quickly establish credibility and trust.
- Commercially Minded: You can identify opportunities,
think strategically and understand how to turn conversations and relationships into sustainable business outcomes.
- Confident and Professional: You're comfortable representing the business, attending networking events, meeting with clients and having proactive business development conversations.
- Self-Motivated: You take ownership of your work, look for opportunities to add value and are comfortable working autonomously.
- Resilient and Adaptable: You remain positive when faced with challenges, can manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Communicators: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and can engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborative Team Players: You enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Please note: a driver’s license and vehicle are required for this role.
Culture and benefits
In return for your hard work and dedication, we can provide:
- Industry leading training and professional development
- Career progression opportunities
- Attractive remuneration package
- A genuinely supportive and friendly team
- EAP program and mental health officer
- Plenty of social events
- 9-day fortnight for permanent full time employees (after successful completion of probation)
