Role Description This full-time, in office Tax Accountant role is based in Bunbury, WA. The Tax Accountant will prepare and review tax returns and related documentation for individuals, businesses, and other entities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include managing tax schedules, analyzing financial data, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and assisting with tax planning and advisory services. The role also involves liaising with clients to gather information, respond to queries,



and provide clear explanations of tax positions and outcomes. The Tax Accountant will collaborate with colleagues in accounting and business advisory to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality client service.
Qualifications
Strong tax-focused skills, including Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and Tax advisory capabilities.Proficiency in Accounting practices, including preparation and review of Financial Statements.Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.Progress toward or completion of a professional designation (e.g., CPA, CA) is highly regarded.Experience with accounting and tax software, and solid Excel skills.Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a client-centered approach.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team on-site in Bunbury, WA.
